Keep The Baby
|
You need to find a doctor you can trust who will help you through the pregnancy. Your doctor will inform you of what to expect, what you should /shouldn’t eat and drink and when to go for your check-ups.
If you are a single mom then you need to have somewhere for you and your baby to live and enough money for both of you to survive. Your doctor or clinic might be able to put you in touch with some single mom support groups.
Many women have been in your shoes and thrived! Remember you are not alone!

Adoption
|
You need to speak to your doctor or clinic for contact details of local adoption agencies.
The adoption procedure begins before birth but is only legalized after the birth. Once the adoption order has been agreed upon by the court, you cease to have legal responsibility of your child.
Your options remain open until your baby is born!
Fostering is when another family temporarily looks after your child but you still remain the legal guardian.

Abortion
|
An abortion means: to end the pregnancy. You need to speak to your doctor or clinic to see if an abortion is a valid option for you depending on your age and how many weeks pregnant you are.
It is very important that you don’t make this decision by yourself. Speak to someone you trust, like your parents or a counselor.
Make sure you know all the options available to you by speaking to a medical doctor or a nurse.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
