It is very difficult when your parents get divorced. What is even worse is when one or both of your parents remarry and either have another baby.
It is also tough having to deal with new stepbrothers and sisters. What you don’t realise is that a new family doesn’t have to be terrible but can actually be a lot of fun. After a while, you probably won’t even worry who your “real” blood-relatives are. When your stepsister or your brother leaves home to study in another province, you will probably miss both of them equally as much.
